These delicious crispy and crunchy cookies have a beautiful even texture and flat shape which makes them perfect to decorate with royal icing and fondant!

Mix for Cookies

Wheat flour, sugar, dextrose (wheat), glucose syrup (dried), raising agent: E450, E500, flavouring (milk).

For allergens, see ingredients in bold. May contain traces of: egg, soy and lupin.

Preparation of Mix for Cookies

Ingredients need to be at room temperature.

Knead the mix, (cream) butter and the egg to a firm dough.

For approx. 25 cookies of 7-10 cm, use 500 g mix, 150 g (cream) butter and 1 egg (50 g).

Wrap the dough in cling film.

Let it rest in the refrigerator for at least an hour.

Preheat the oven to 180°C (convection oven 160°C).

Roll out the dough on a floured flat surface to 3 mm thickness and cut out the cookies.

Bake the cookies in the middle of the oven for approx. 12 minutes until golden.

Remove the cookies from the oven, let them cool down on the baking plate and decorate as desired.

Tip! Craving apple pie? Line base and sides of a spring form cake pan with cookie dough and fill with pieces of apple sprinkled with sugar and cinnamon.
