Mix for Cupcakes
We all want those perfect cupcakes, right? Nicely even and flat on top and deliciously moist inside. Perfect for decorating with fondant, marzipan or swirls and rosettes of buttercream. With the FunCakes Mix for Cupcakes you easily bake them yourself!

Mix for Cupcakes
Sugar, wheat flour, raising agent: E450, E500, emulsifier: E472b (palm, rapeseed), E477 (palm), glucose syrup (dried), milk powder (skimmed), preservative: E202, thickener: E415, flavouring (milk), colour: E160b.

Store in a cool, dry place.

Ingredients need to be at room temperature.
Preheat the oven to 180°C (convection oven 160°C).
Put the mix, eggs and butter in a bowl.
For 20-24 cupcakes: use 500 g mix, 250 g butter and 5 eggs (250 g). Tip! Add a FunCakes flavour paste of your choice, for example lemon or orange.
Put a (flat) beater on your mixer.
Mix at low speed for 4 minutes to a smooth batter.
Line a muffin pan with paper baking cups.
Fill the baking cups half with batter.
Tip! Use an (ice cream) scoop or a piping bag to do so.
Bake the cupcakes in the oven for approx. 18-20 minutes.
Release the cupcakes from the baking pan immediately after baking and let it cool down on a cake grid.
Tip! Going for mini cupcakes? With 500 g Mix for Cupcakes you can make approx. 40-48 mini cupcakes. Bake the cupcakes for approx. 12-15 minutes. Or do you prefer a loaf cake (25 cm)? Bake the cake at 150-160°C (convection oven) for approx. 60-70 minutes.
