What you need to make your christmas bundt cake:

  • 500 g FunCakes Mix for Cupcakes
  • 200 g FunCakes Mix for Buttercream
  • FunCakes Flavour Spiced Cookie (oil-based)
  • FunCakes Food Colour Gel Holly Green
  • FunCakes Sugar Decoration Bronze Ice Crystal
  • FunCakes Choco Balls Bronze
  • FunCakes Sugar Decorations Christmas
  • FunCakes Bake Release Spray
  • 500 g unsalted butter
  • 200 ml water
  • 5 eggs (approx. 250g)
  • Handful of raisins

Recipe of Christmas bundt cake

Preheat the oven to 180°C (convection oven 160°C) and grease your bundt pan with FunCakes Bake Release Spray.

Prepare 500 g FunCakes Mix for Cupcakes as indicated on the package. Stir a handful of raisins and the FunCakes Spiced Cookie Flavour into the batter. Spoon the mixture into the bundt pan. Bake for about 50-60 minutes and allow it to cool in the pan.

Prepare 200 g FunCakes Mix for Buttercream as indicated on the package.

Carefully slice the bundt cake in half using a cake leveler. Prepare a decorating bag with a decorating tip #1M and fill it with buttercream. Pipe small swirls of buttercream on the bottom layer and gently place the top half of the cake back on.

Colour the remaining buttercream green with food colour gel and fill another decorating bag with a decorating tip #1M.

Create a beautiful thick braid of buttercream on top of the bundt cake by piping lines from left to right, slightly overlapping each other. Decorate with sugar stars, choco balls, and sugar decorations.
