Mix for Red Velvet Cake

Make with the FunCakes mix for Red Velvet Cake a delicious velveteen fluffy cake. You can also use the mix to bake cupcakes with a light chocolate flavour. Simple add vegetable oil, eggs and water to prepare this sweet mix.

Mix for Red Velvet Cake

Wheat flour, sugar, wheat starch, leavening agent: E500, E450, E341, vegetable oil and fat (rape), skimmed cacao powder, emulsifier: E472b (palm, rapeseed), E477 (palm), glucose syrup (dried), soy flour, colour: E172, E129, salt, thickener: E466, E415, flavouring. E129: may have an adverse effect on activity and attention in children.

Preparation

Preheat the oven to 175°C (convection oven 160°C).

Mix the FunCakes Mix for Red Velvet with water, eggs and vegetable oil for 6-8 minutes to a light batter.

Pour the batter into a buttered baking pan (1/2 to 2/3 full) or baking cups.

Bake in the middle of the preheated oven and release immediately after baking and let ir cool down on a cooling grid.

Tip! Fill/decorate with buttercream or cream cheese frosting. Also suitable for cupcakes (approx. 20 cupcakes with 500 g mix recipe), baking time approx. 20 minutes on 175°C (convection oven 160°C).
