Sugar, wheat flour, wheat starch, cocoa powder (skimmed), emulsifier: E472b (palm, rapeseed), E477 (palm), barley malt, glucose syrup (dried), raising agent: E500, E450, milk powder (skimmed), sugar (burned), thickener: E415.

Preparation of Mix for Choco Sponge Cake


Ingredients need to be at room temperature.


Preheat the oven to 180°C (convection oven 160°C).


Put the mix, eggs and water in a bowl.


Mix at high speed for 7-8 minutes.


Then mix at low speed for another 2-3 minutes.


Grease the baking pan with Bake Release Spray.


Fill the greased baking pan up to two thirds with the batter.


Place the cake in the preheated oven.


Don’t open the oven during baking!

Tip! The cake is ready when it feels springy to the touch.


Release the cake from the baking pan immediately after baking and let it cool down on a cake grid.
