You either hate it or you love it; carrot cake. For this delicious cake, the grated carrot is mixed into the batter and during the baking process the carrot becomes soft, creating a soft and dense texture.
- 500 g FunCakes Mix for Carrot Cake
- 80 ml water
- 3 eggs (approx. 150 g)
- 150 ml vegetable oil
- 150 g carrot (grated)
- FunCakes Bake Release Spray
- Wilton Recipe Right® Right Square Pan 20x20cm
- Wilton Parchment
- Wilton Chrome-Plated Cooling Grid
Preheat oven to 175°C (convection oven 160°C).
Mix 500 grams of FunCakes Mix voor Carrot Cake with 80 ml of water, 3 eggs, 150 ml of vegetable oil and 150 grams of grated carrot. If desired add some walnuts of raisins.
Mix the batter on low speed for 5 minutes and divide the batter in the greased pan.
Bake the cake in the middle of the preheated oven for 50 – 60 minutes.
Tip! Garnisch the carrot cake with buttercream or cream cheese.
