
Quantity table
On the packages of our baking mixes we always mention the right quantities for standard baking pans and portions, either in a small table on the back or in the preparation method. But standard? At FunCakes we don’t really like standard! We love it when you guys start experimenting with our products and try new things! For example by picking a different size or shape baking pan for a change. As then it might be hard to estimate the right quantities for your batters, we created these tables in which you’ll find many different sizes of baking pans together with the corresponding amounts of mix and other ingredients you’ll need.
A cake for 30 persons? How big should my sponge cake be?
In these tables you won’t only find the quantities of mix, butter, water and eggs. Listed in there are also the amount of portions you’ll get, the baking times and the amount of fondant you’ll need to cover a sponge cake of a particular size. This might come in handy when someone asks you to bake a cake for 30 persons instead of the 8 persons you’re usually baking for. And for brownies we listed the amount of filling such as nuts, raisins or chocolate chips you might want to add to your specific size of brownie. This way you will never have to waste anything and you will always have enough cake for everybody.
Cause there should always be enough cake, right?

Did you find a very originally shaped baking pan or one with a very different size which isn’t in these tables either? Then try finding another baking pan in the table that’s quite similar. A centimeter more or less shouldn’t make a big difference. Still not sure or is your baking pan really different from all the ones listed here?
