Mix for Muffins

Who doesn’t love a good old muffin? Thanks to the endless options of fillings you can add to muffins, this simply is a type of treat you never get tired of. With this FunCakes baking mix you easily make them yourself in the way they are meant to be: American Style, high, fluffy, vanilla flavoured muffins.

Mix for Muffins

Wheat flour, sugar, free-range egg yolk (dried), free-range egg white (dried), stabilizer: E420, modified starch, whey powder (milk), raising agent: E500, E341, E450, emulsifier: E471 (palm), salt, colour: E160a, thickener: E415, flavouring.

For allergens, see ingredients in bold. May contain traces of: soy and lupin.

Preparation of Mix for Muffins


Ingredients need to be at room temperature.


Preheat the oven to 180°C (convection oven 160°C).


Put the mix, water and vegetable oil (such as groundnut oil) in a bowl.

For 12 muffins, use 500 g mix, 220 ml (210 gr) of vegetable oil (such as groundnut oil) and 200 ml of water. Tip! Add a filling of your choice, such as bake stable chocolate, blueberries, banana or nuts.


Mix at low speed for 5 minutes to a smooth batter.


Line a muffin pan with 12 paper baking cups.


Fill the baking cups up to maximum 90% with the batter.


Bake the muffins in the preheated oven for approximately 25 minutes until golden.


Release the muffins from the baking pan immediately after baking and let it cool down on a cake grid.

Just add water and vegetable oil and within half an hour you’ve got the best muffins served and ready to surprise your guests. To vary every now and then, add a filling of your choice, such as blueberries, bananas, nuts or the FunCakes Chocolate Drops in your favourite flavour!
