Mix for Buttercream Gluten Free

With our gluten free range you can prepare all of the FunCakes must-have mixes comepletely gluten free! With this mix you can easily make a creamy, gluten free buttercream. Perfect as a filling between your gluten free sponge cake or a topping on your gluten free cupcakes! Add a flavour or colour as you like.

Sugar, starch (corn), dextrose, vegetable oil (coconut), glucose syrup, milk protein, stabiliser: E340, emulsifier: E472a, E471, modified starch: E1414, milk powder (skimmed), thickener: E404, stabiliser: E450, acidity regulator: E339, flavouring, acidity regulator: E330.

Store in a dry place, at room temperature. Do not expose to temperature change and heat sources.

Preparation of Mix for Buttercream Gluten Free

Ingredients need to be at room temperature.

For one portion, use: 150 g mix, 100 ml water and 180 g butter. This will be enough for filling and covering a Ø20 cm cake or swirls on approx. 12 cupcakes.

Put the mix and water in a bowl.

Beat the mixture with a whisk.

Let the mixture rest at room temperature for at least an hour.

Put the butter in a mixing bowl.

Put a (flat) beater on your mixer.

Beat the butter for 2 minutes on medium speed until it’s creamy.

Now add the mixture in two portions to the butter. Mix until each portion has been fully absorbed before adding the next portion.

Once all of the mixture has been added, beat at high speed for approx. 5 minutes to a smooth buttercream.
