Mirror Glaze

With the FunCakes Mirror Glaze you apply a shiny mirror layer over frozen bavarois cakes. Just stir it and the glaze is ready to use. Add any colour (or colours!) you like with the FunCakes food colourings. For example, pour the mirror glaze over a dome cake for an impressive look.

Mirror Glaze

Water, sugar, glucose syrup, gelling agent: E440, E415, E407, acidity regulator: E575, E331, E509, preservative: E202, flavouring.

May contain traces of: gluten, soy, nuts, sulphur dioxide and sulphites (E220-E228) at concentrations of more than 10 mg/kg or 10 mg/l, expressed as SO2.

Store in a cool, dry place, 8-20°C.

Preparation of Mirror Glaze

Stir the Mirror Glaze well before use.

Tip! Add any desired colour with the FunCakes food colourings.

Place your frozen bavarois cake on a rack above the sink.

Important! Your cake must be frozen. For the best result, keep the cake in the freezer until right before you pour the mirror glaze over it.

Pour the mirror glaze over the cake in one smooth motion.
