Add the desired amount of colouring to your batter, cream or sugar paste.
Tip! A few drops is already enough for beautiful, vibrant colours. So don’t add too much right away. You can always add extra if you desire a deeper colour.
Knead or stir well until the colouring has completely blended.
Tip! Bright red and pitch black are tricky colours. Is the colour not deep enough for you? Let your sugar paste, marzipan or buttercream rest overnight so that the colour can absorb even better. Make sure you pack your product well so that no air gets in and put your buttercream in the fridge. The next day knead or mix again and you will see that your colour has developed perfectly!
Add an extra drop if you desire a deeper or brighter colour and stir or knead well again.
