Peanut butter banana muffins

Who doesn’t love a good muffin? The endless possibilities of fillings you can add to muffins make this a simple treat that you will never tire of. This time add peanut butter, honey and banana to it.

What you need to make your peanut butter banana muffins:

Ingredients

  • 500 g FunCakes Mix for Muffins
  • 125 g FunCakes Mix for Buttercream
  • FunCakes Flavour Paste Banana
  • FunCakes Chocolate Melts Dark
  • 325 ml of water
  • 220 ml of sunflower oil
  • 150 g unsalted butter
  • Peanut butter
  • Honey
  • Banana chips

  • Wilton parchment paper
  • Wilton Recipe Right® Muffin Pan
  • Wilton tip #1M

Recipe

Prepare 125 g of FunCakes Mix for Buttercream as indicated on the package and add the flavor paste as desired.

Preheat the oven to 180°C (convection oven 160°C).

Prepare 500 g of FunCakes Mix for Muffins according to the instructions on the package and add peanut butter, honey and the banana flavour. Divide 12 paper baking cups over a muffin tin. Fill this to just below the rim with the batter. Bake the muffins in the middle of the oven for about 25 minutes. Let them cool on a wire rack after baking.

Place the banana chips on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Melt the chocolate in the microwave and put it in a piping bag. Cut a small tip off and zigzag with the chocolate over the banana chips.

Fill a decorating bag with tip 1M with the buttercream and pipe rosettes on the muffins. Decorate with a banana chips.
