Bake the most delicious Belgian Waffles yourself with this FunCakes mix. Simple add butter, water, egg and the FunCakes pearl sugar to the mix and you have delicious robust waffles according to original Liege recipes.
Mix for Sweet Belgian Waffles
Wheat flour, sugar, modified starch, leavening agent: E450, E550, vegetable oil and fat (turnip), wheat gluten, salt, emulsifier: E471 (palm), E472e (sunflower, rapeseed), thickener: E466, flavouring, enzymes (wheat).
For allergens, see ingredients in bold. May contain traces of: egg, soy, milk and lupin.
Store in a cool, dry place.

Mix 500 grams of FunCakes Mix for Sweet Belgian Waffles with 150 grams of (cream)butter, 175 ml of water and 1 egg (50 grams) in approximately 3-4 minutes into a smooth dough.
Mix 200 grams FunCakes Pearl Sugar with 20 grams of slightly melted (cream)butter.
Mix the mixture of pearl sugar and butter for 30 seconds through the dough.
Preheat waffle iron and grease both baking grids.
Make dough balls of 70 g (approximately 15 pieces).
Bake the waffles for 3-4 minutes in the waffle iron until they are golden brown.
If desired, garnish the waffle with whipped cream or fresh fruit.
