Mix for Waffles
For the best Belgian Waffles you no longer need to travel to Belgium, cause with this Mix for Waffles from FunCakes you easily bake them in your own home kitchen. Add butter, water, egg and potentially the FunCakes Pearl Sugar to this mix and enjoy those delicious robust waffles according to the original Liège recipe: sweet, crispy and full of sugar crystals. A waffle like it’s meant to be. Belgium’s best in a pink FunCakes package.
Mix for Sweet Belgian Waffles
Wheat flour, sugar, modified starch, raising agent: E450, E500, vegetable oil and fat (turnip), wheat gluten, salt, emulsifier: E471 (palm), E472e, thickener: E466, flavouring, enzymes (wheat).
For allergens, see ingredients in bold. May contain traces of: egg, soy, milk and lupin.
Store in a cool, dry place.

Use 500 g mix, 50 g (1) egg, 150 g (cream) butter and 175 ml water.
This is enough for approx. 15 waffles.
Ingredients need to be at room temperature.
Add the mix, egg, butter and water to a bowl.
Tip! Mix 200 g of FunCakes Pearl Sugar with 20 g of melted butter and add this to the bowl.
Mix with the dough hook for 3-4 minutes at medium speed into a smooth dough.
Preheat the waffle iron and grease both baking grids.
Make dough balls of 70 g (approximately 15 pieces).
Bake the waffles for 3-4 minutes in the waffle iron until they are golden brown.
Tip! Garnish the waffle with whipped cream or fresh fruit.
