Recipe of Babyshower cakepops

1

Roll out the white sugar paste to a thickness of about 2 mm and cut out clouds, stars and moons. For the moons, use the round cookie cutters. Use half of large cutter to cut out the outer edge of the moons and half of a smaller cutter to cut out the inner edge. Make approx. 40-45 clouds, 20-23 stars and 20-23 moons, to make sure every cake pop gets a cloud with either a star or a moon. Let them air dry for two hours.

2

Preheat the oven to 180°C (convection oven 160°C).

3

Prepare 500 g FunCakes Mix for Cupcakes as indicated on the package. Grease the baking pan with the Bake Release Spray and fill with the batter. Bake the cake for 55-60 minutes and let it cool down completely on a cooling grid.

4

Melt some white Deco Melts au bain-marie or in the microwave at 450W (max. 500W). Stir the melts well every 15-20 seconds. Stop heating once the melts are almost completely melted (small pieces still visible). Keep stirring until it is completely smooth.

5

Crumble the cake and mix it with some melted white Deco Melts until you have a nice dough. Roll it into balls of about 20 g and let it rest for half an hour in the fridge.

6

Meanwhile, spray the sugar paste stars and moons with the bronze and silver Metallic Spray and let them dry.

7

Line a baking tray with parchment paper. Remelt the white Deco Melts and insert the end of the lollipop stick into the melted Deco Melts. Press the side of the stick with the melts into the dough ball. This prevents the dough balls from sliding off the lollipop sticks. Then put the cake pops in the freezer for half an hour to an hour.

8

Melt the other colours of Deco Melts. For the vintage pink colour, mix some toffee Deco Melts with the pink Deco Melts until you’ve reached the desired colour. For the vintage blue Deco Melts, mix the light blue melts with the dark green and toffee. Get the cake pops out of the freezer and dip them in the melted Deco Melts. Let them harden in the fridge afterwards.

9

With edible glue, stick the stick the stars or moons on top of to the clouds. Mix the royal icing with water as indicated on the package. Attach a set of clouds to each lollipop stick with a bit of royal icing.
