Recipe of Sandwich cake with strawberries

1

Copy the print of the strawberries with pencil onto a sheet of parchment paper. Turn the parchment paper over and place it on a large baking sheet. You do this to prevent pencil dust from getting into your cookie!

2

Prepare 330 g FunCakes Mix for Sponge Cake Deluxe as indicated on the package. Take off a tablespoon of this and colour it yellow. Also take 2x a bowl of this with 3 generous tablespoons in each bowl. Color this green and red. Color the rest of the mix light pink. Know that the colors intensify during baking so be careful with the amount of food colour you add.

3

Prepare 3 decorating bags with adaptors and decorating tip #003. Fill these with the yellow, red and green sponge cake mix. Start with the yellow tips of the strawberries. After this make the green crowns. Let this set in the freezer for 15/20 minutes. After this you fill the strawberries with the red sponge cake mix. Again, put this in the freezer for 15/20 minutes.

4

Put the pink sponge cake mix in a decorating bag and cut off a tip so that the opening is about 1 cm. Now swirl this pink sponge cake mix in long strips over the strawberries on the baking sheet. Smooth it gently with the spatula. Do not push too hard!

5

Preheat the oven to 180°C (convection oven 160°C).

6

Bake the plate for about 14-16 minutes until light brown. Dump the plate of sponge cake onto a clean tea towel. Immediately after baking, remove the baking sheet. Place a new sheet of parchment paper on the counter and let it cool down. Cut away the edges of the slab of sponge cake and then cut several equal triangles from the sheet.

7

Prepare 150 g FunCakes Mix for Enchanted Cream® as indicated on the package and put it in a decorating bag. Cut off a tip of about 1.5 cm from this.

8

Spray one triangle of sponge cake generously with Enchanted Cream® and place the second triangle on top. At the front, press a few slices of strawberry into the cream.
