Recipe of Pink drip cake

1

Preheat the oven to 180°C (convection oven 160°C) and grease the baking pan with baking spray.

2

Prepare 250 g FunCakes Mix for Sponge Cake Deluxe as indicated on the package and spatula into the greased baking pan. Bake the biscuit for about 30-35 minutes and immediately after baking, dump onto a cake rack and leave to cool.

3

Prepare 300 g FunCakes Mix for buttercream as indicated on the package.

4

Cut the cake 2x with the cake leveler and fill with a layer of buttercream. Then place the halved raspberries on top and a layer of raspberry jam. Spread the whole cake thinly with buttercream all around and leave to set in the fridge for an hour.

5

Colour enough buttercream pink with the colour gel to cover the cake a second time. Colour the rest in different shades of purple and pink with the colouring gel. Make sure you have different colours of cream for 5 piping bags.

6

Prepare 4 decorating bags with adaptors and small decorating tip and 1 bag with decorating tip #1M and fill them with the coloured buttercream.

7

Melt the FunCakes Deco Melts as indicated on the package and put it in a sealed decorating bag. Cut off a tip and make a nice drip along the top edge of the cake. Let this set in the fridge for a while.

8

Use the #1M to make a few nice rosettes on top of the cake. Swirl a zigzag along these rosettes with #104, making sure the thick side of the nozzle rests on the cake. With the other decorating tips, fill the holes with stars and dropflowers.
