Cookie cake for Mother's Day
Mothers are word a 10! So treat your with this cookie cake for Mother’s Day.
What you need to make your cookie cake for mother's day:
- 500 g FunCakes Mix for Cookies
- 2 tablespoons FunCakes Icing Sugar
- FunCakes Marsepein Rozen – Pink
- FunCakes Marzipan Hearts small
- 300 g MonChou
- 200 ml whipped cream
- 150 g unsalted butter
- 130 g sugar
- 1 egg (aprox. 50 g)
- Marrow from 1 vanilla pod
- Decoration material: macarons, meringues, strawberries, blackberries
- FunCakes Magic Roll-Out Powder
- FunCakes Decorating bags
- 2x Wilton Tip #1A
- Wilton Parchment paper
Preheat the oven to 180 ° C (convection oven 160 ° C).
Prepare 500 grams of FunCakes Mix for Cookies as indicated on the package. Leave the dough to set in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
Then roll out the dough on a worktop dusted with Magic Roll-Out Powder to a thickness of 0.5 cm. Cut a 1 and a 0 twice from the dough with a knife. Place the numbers on a baking tray lined with parchment paper and bake the cakes in the middle of a preheated oven for 15 minutes. Let them cool down.
Place the 300 grams of MonChou, 200 ml of whipped cream, 2 tablespoons of FunCakes icing sugar, 130 grams of fine granulated sugar and the marrow of 1 vanilla pod in a mixing bowl, mix this into a thick smooth cream and put in a piping bag with tip # 1A.
Also prepare the Mix for Pastry Cream as indicated on the packaging. Place this in a piping bag with tip # 1A.
Pipe caps with creme patisserie on the bottom layer of the letters, then place the second layer of cake on top and spray caps with MonChou cream on top.
