What you need to make your colorful donuts with dip'n drip:
Ingredients
- 500 g FunCakes Mix for Doughnuts
- 500 g FunCakes Dip 'n Drip White
- FunCakes Food Colour Gel Pink
- FunCakes Food Colour Gel Bright Green
- FunCakes Food Colour Gel Yellow
- FunCakes Sprinkle Medley Happy
- 215 ml water
- 55 g vegetable oil (sunflower)
- Frying Pan with plantbased oil (sunflower oil)
- Flower to toll out
Necessities
- Wilton roll out pin 50 cm
- Patisse Donut & Bagel Cutter Ø9cm
Heat the deep fryer with vegetable (sunflower) oil to 180°C.
Prepare 500 g FunCakes Mix for Donuts as indicated on the package. Roll out the dough to a thickness of about 0.5 cm-1 cm. Cut out the donut shapes and let rest for 25 minutes. Fry the donuts in the fryer until golden brown for about 90 sec per side. For thicker donuts a little longer.
TIP! You may want to dip the donuts in fine granulated sugar immediately after frying. Just be aware that the glaze won’t stick as easily! You could choose to put 1 side in the sugar and run the other side through the glaze.
Make 3 bowls with FunCakes Dip ‘n Drip and colour yellow, pink and green with the Food Colour Gels. Heat this (10-15 sec) in the microwave to make it a bit more fluid. Dip the doughnuts in the icing and immediately sprinkle some of the happy medley on top.
