Recipe of Black Cake with Enchanted Cream and Bonbons

1

Preheat the oven to 180°C (convection oven 160°C) and grease the baking pans with baking spray.

2

Prepare 330 g FunCakes Mix for Sponge Cake Deluxe as indicated on the package and divide between the two baking pans. Bake the cakes for about 30-35 minutes until done and immediately after baking, let the cake cool down by using a cooling grid.

3

Melt the black Deco Melts in a bowl in the microwave as indicated on the package. Splash this into the chocolate mold with a teaspoon, scrape the top clean with the side scraper and let set in the refrigerator for a while.

4

Meanwhile, melt the lime green Deco Melts according to instructions on the package and put this in a decorating bag. Cut off a tip and fill the mold completely with the Deco Melts. Wait a minute and then empty the mold again over the container and scrape the top clean. Let set in the refrigerator. Repeat one more time if necessary.

5

Fill the cavities with a piece of marzipan and then fill with melted Deco Melts.  Place this in the refrigerator and let set well. After this, gently tap the mold upside down on your work surface, the chocolates will fall out easily. Repeat this process with the yellow Deco Melts.

6

Prepare 150 g FunCakes Mix for Enchanted Cream® as indicated on the package and colour it lime green with the food colour gel.

7

Cut the cakes both 2x with the cake cutter and fill and spread all around with lime green cream. Let set in the refrigerator for a while.

8

Knead the black sugar paste smoothly and roll it out to a thickness of about 2mm and line the cakes with it. Stack the cakes on top of each other with dowels and a cake board cut to size for the 10 cm cake.

9

Stick the chocolates against the cake with some black Deco Melts.

10

Put the remaining lime green cream in two decorating bags with decorating tip #1M and #022 with an adaptor. Pipe a scalloped edge on top of the cake with #1M and a scalloped edge along the edge of the two cakes with #022. Decorate with the black medley.
