Recipe of Birthday Ice cream cake

Preheat the oven to 180°C (convection oven 160°C) and grease the baking pans with baking spray.

Prepare 400 g FunCakes Mix for Sponge Cake Deluxe as indicated on the package and divide the batter between the two greased baking pans. Bake the biscuits for about 30-35 minutes until done. Let the cakes cool down by using a cooling grid.

Prepare 150 g FunCakes Mix for Enchanted Cream® as indicated on the package. Cut the cakes with the cake leveler 2x and fill with jam of your choice. Coat the outside of the cakes with Enchanted Cream® and put them in the fridge.

Take 500 g FunCakes Covering Paste and colour it pink and the rest orange with the food colour gel. Knead the sugar paste well and roll it out to a thickness of 2 mm or less on a work surface dusted with magic roll out powder. Line the bottom cake with the pink sugar paste and the top cake with orange sugar paste. Use the smoothers to get the sugar paste nice and tight around your cake and cut away the excess sugar paste with a sharp knife.

Melt the FunCakes Deco Melts in the microwave as indicated on the package, dip the edges of the ice cream cones in the Deco Melts and pass them through a bowl of sugar strands. Let this set in the fridge for 5 minutes and then take them out.

Prepare the remaining 150 g FunCakes Mix for Enchanted Cream® as indicated on the package and put it in a decorating bag with decorating tip #1M.

Fill the ice cream cones with Enchanted Cream® and swirl a generous tuft of Enchanted Cream® on top and place in the fridge.

Stack the cakes on top of each other using a cake board cut to size and dowels cut to size.

Colour half of the Enchanted Cream® what you have left green and the other half pink. Put the green cream in a decorating bag with adaptor and decorating tip #032. Put the pink cream in a decorating bag without decorating tip.

Swirl nice green finishing borders along the cakes and sprinkle some sugar strands on top.

Stick a skewer into the top cake and place a filled ice cream cone at an angle. Drizzle some melted blue deco melts on top and run some over the edge of the cake. This works best if you put the deco melts in a decorating bag. Just before serving, stick the other ice cream cones against the cake with the pink cream and decorate with FunCakes Candy Choco Confetti.

Stick the sugar flowers here and there on the cake with some cream.
