What you need to make your hot choco spoon:
Ingredients
- 400 g FunCakes Deco Melts Dark Choco Flavoured
- FunCakes Nonpareils Christmas
- FunCakes Nonpareils Silver white
- FunCakes Sugar Decorations Christmas
- FunCakes Micro Marshmallows
- Candy Canes
Necessities
- FunCakes Decorating Bags
- FunCakes Parchment Paper Sheets 25x25 cm
- Wilton Silicone Treat Mould Heart
- Dr. Oetker Pastry Brush with Wooden Handle 19,5x2,4 cm
Melt the FunCakes Deco Melts Dark Choco Flavour as indicated on the package.
Coat the inside of the heart-shaped mould with the melted Deco Melts and let it set in the fridge. Repeat this process three times to create a sturdy layer. Allow the Deco Melts to cool to a paste-like consistency and transfer it into a decorating bag. Snip off a small tip and fill the cavities in the mould. Insert a candy cane and sprinkle FunCakes Micro Marshmallows around it. Let it set in the fridge.
Reheat the leftover Deco Melts in the microwave until they are fully melted again.
Line a baking tray with parchment paper and pour the two types of sprinkles into separate bowls.
Carefully remove the hearts from the mould and dip the bottom into the melted Deco Melts. Immediately dip the coated bottom into the sprinkles and place the hearts upright on the parchment paper to dry. This will set quickly as the coating is thin and the hearts are chilled.
Attach a FunCakes Sugar Decoration to the candy cane using a small amount of melted Deco Melts.
