Let the fondant come to ambient temperature.

Knead the fondant firmly until it is smooth and elastic.

Dust the work surface with a bit of icing sugar and roll out the fondant with a rolling pin to an even shape (2-3 mm thick). Turn the fondant a quarter to prevent sticking.

Are there still small cracks visible on the edges when the fondant is rolled out? Knead again firmly until the edges are smooth when rolling out. Then the fondant is ready for use.

The fondant is soft, pliable and completely hardens after processing. The FunCakes rolled fondant Marshmallow has a bright white colour and a lovely marshmallow flavour. FunCakes rolled fondant is available in many various colours and flavours.

With FunCakes rolled fondant you can easily model or create different shapes and designs. The fondant is also suitable for creating decorations. For 250g fondant add one full teaspoon with FunCakes CMC – Tylo Powder and/or water if needed. Knead well before use and roll out on a thin layer of icing sugar.

To cover a round cake with a diameter of 20cm, you will need approximately 500g of fondant.
