Recipe of Wedding cake with edible wafer flowers

1

Preheat the oven to 180°C (convection oven 160°C). Grease the 2 heart-shaped springform pans with FunCakes Bake Release Spray.

2

Prepare 400 g of FunCakes Mix for Buttercream as indicated on the packaging. Flavour the batter with FunCakes Flavour Paste.

3

Slice both   cakes horizontally into 3 layers using the cake leveler, and generously fill each layer with buttercream. Then, smooth the buttercream over the outside of the cakes and let them set in the fridge.

4

Insert 4 dowels into the bottom cake and trim them to size. Spread a small amount of buttercream between the dowels on top of the cake. Place the smaller cake on a pre-cut gold/silver cake board and position it on top of the other cake.

5

Place a #032 decorating tip in a FunCakes Decorating Bag and fill it with buttercream.

6

Create an elegant shell pattern along the edges of the cake and place a golden pearl here and there.

7

Attach the large and small Wafer Flowers to the cake with buttercream and pop the cake in the fridge for a short while to ensure the flowers stay in place.

Just a little while before you can enjoy your cake. Don't forget to share your creation: #funcakesbyme
