Kika Easter cookies
These cute Easter Cookies are easily made with the FunCakes Mix for Cookies. Give you cookies a bunny shape, bake them and sprinkle some nonpareils on top!
What you need to make your kika easter cookies:
- 500 g FunCakes Mix for Cookies
- FunCakes Nonpareils Pastel
- FunCakes Ready Roll-Out Powder
- 150 g unsalted butter
- 1 egg (approx. 50 g)
- Apricot jam
- Wilton Cookie Cutter Egg with Rabbit Set/2
- Wilton Wide Glide Rolling Pin
- Wilton Decorating Tip #005 Round
- Wilton Parchment Paper
- Dr. Oetker Baking Brush with Wooden Handle 19,5x2,4 cm
Prepare 500 g FunCakes Mix for Cookies as indicated on the package, wrap in cling film and leave to set in the refrigerator for one hour.
Quickly knead the dough from the fridge well and on a floured work surface roll it out to a thickness of about 2 to 3 mm and punch out shapes. Pierce small holes in the bunnies at the top with decorating tip #005. Place on the baking sheet and bake the cookies for 8-12 minutes until light brown. Let them cool down on the counter.
Heat the jar of apricot jam in the microwave and push it through a sieve with the rounded side of a spoon. You now have apricot jelly to spread on the cookies.
Coat the cookies with apricot jam and sprinkle the musket seed pastel on top. Thread a pretty ribbon or string through the pendants.
