What you need to make your panther print cookies with popping candy:
Ingredients
- 500 g FunCakes Mix for Cookies
- 250 g FunCakes Deco Melts Toffees Flavour
- FunCakes Popping Candy
- 150 g unsalted butter
- 1 egg (approx. 50 g)
- Cocoa powder
- Flour to roll out on
Necessities
- Wilton Parchment Paper
- Wilton Rolling pin 50 cm
- PME Heart Cutter Set/6
- Plastic Foil
Preheat the oven to 180°C (convection oven 160°C).
Prepare 500 g FunCakes Mix for Cookies according to the instructions on the package. Wrap in plastic foil and leave in the fridge for at least one hour.
Knead the dough from the fridge smoothly and remove two pieces. Colour this with the cocoa powder in two shades of brown.
Roll out the plain biscuit dough to a thickness of 2-3 mm. Use the two brown colours of dough to make the panther print. When your pattern is ready, place the panther print dough on the plain biscuit dough. Lightly run the rolling pin over it a few times so it ‘melts’ together. Cut out the desired size of heart and place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
Bake the biscuits in the oven for about 11-15 minutes, until lightly browned. Let them cool down flat on the counter.
Melt the 250 g FunCakes Deco Melts Toffee Flavour in the microwave according to the instructions on the packet. Dip the biscuits in it and immediately sprinkle the icing sugar on top. Let the Deco Melts set in the fridge for 10-15 minutes. Then store the cookies in a jar.
