
Classic cake
Fancy a classic, deliciously sweet and airy cake? With the FunCakes Mix for Classic Cake, you can easily bake a timeless favourite that will please everyone by only adding eggs, butter and water to the mix. With its soft, moist texture and refined vanilla flavour, you can conjure up a nostalgic Farmers’ Cake or Grandma Cake in no time. Bake this classic cake as a loaf, ideal for a cosy Sunday afternoon with tea or as the basis for a festive cake.
What you need to make your classic cake:
Ingredients
 400 g FunCakes Mix for Classic Cake 400 g FunCakes Mix for Classic Cake
- 250 g unsalted butter
- 4 eggs (approx. 200 g)

 FunCakes Bake Release Spray FunCakes Bake Release Spray
- Patisse Adjustable Cake pan Profi 20-35cm
Adjust the cake pan to 24 cm and grease it with FunCakes Bake Release Spray.
Preheat the oven to 150°C (convection oven 140°C).
Prepare 400 g FunCakes Mix for Classic Cake as indicated on the package. Put the butter in the mixing bowl and mix for 3 minutes on low speed until smooth. Add the eggs and the mix and combine for 5 minutes on medium speed.
Spoon the batter into the cake pan and bake the cake for about 55–60 minutes until lightly browned. Let it cool almost completely, then turn it out onto a cooling grid to cool further.
Decorate the cake if desired with Enchanted Cream, Sprinkles or chocolate!
