Apple pie cupcakes
The traditional Dutch apple pie, in a cupcake! Easy to make and easy to share. Bake together with your family or bake them for loved ones in the the neighbourhood.
- 500 g FunCakes Mix For Cupcakes
- 150 g FunCakes Mix Swiss Meringue Buttercream
- FunCakes Flavour Paste Apple Pie
- 250 g unsalted butter
- 5 eggs (approx. 250 g)
- 2 apples
- FunCakes decorating bags
- FunCakes Baking Cups Brown
- Wilton Recipe Right® Muffin Pan
- Wilton decorating tip #1
- Wilton cooling grid
Preheat the oven to 180 ° C (Convection oven 160 ° C).
Prepare 500 gram FunCakes Mix for Cupcakes as indicated on the package. Cut the apple into small pieces and mix it into the batter. Place the baking cups in the muffin pan and spoon the batter into the cups. Bake the cupcakes in the middle of the preheated oven for 18 – 20 minutes. Let the cupcakes cool using a cooling grid.
Prepare 150 gram FunCakes Mix for Swiss Meringue Buttercream as indicated on the package and add the flavor paste. Place tip # 1M in a decorating bag and fill it with swiss meringue buttercream. Pipe the cupcakes and decorate with cinnamon.
