What you need to make your easter egg tray with filled chocolates:
Ingredients
- 300/325 g FunCakes Deco Melts - Dark Chocolate Flavour
- 150 g FunCakes Deco Melts in various colours (150 g per colour)
- FunCakes Spread - Crunchy Speculoos Cookies
Necessities
- FunCakes Syringe bag 30 cm
- Wilton Silicone Petite Treat Mould -Bunnies
- Dr Oetker Pastry Brush with Wooden Handle 19,5x2,4 cm
- Cake Star Mould Cracked Half Egg Small set/2
- Cake Star Mould Cracked Half Egg Large set/2
Melt the FunCakes Deco Melts Dark Chocolate Flavour according to instructions on the packet in the microwave. Using a brush, spread 1x one half of a large egg and 2x a small one with dark choco Deco Melts. Leave to set in the fridge. Repeat this at least 4x to get a nice thick layer. Remember to refrigerate between smearing the layers each time.
Put a pan of water on the heat to just near the boil and place a plate or griddle on top. Remove the egg halves from the mould and quickly transfer them to the hot plate. Put a small egg upside down on the table, take the bottom of the large egg over the hot plate just as quickly and stick it onto the small egg. Now you have a tray. Remove the other half of the small egg over the warm plate and stick it upside down (i.e. with the rounded side up) into the large egg. Leave to set in the fridge.
Melt the colours of Deco Melts according to the instructions on the packaging in the microwave and use a brush to spread the coloured Deco Melts into the rabbit mould and leave to set. Repeat this a few times. Put some of the FunCakes Crunchy Speculoos Cookie Spread in a piping bag and cut off a tip. Fill the bunnies with a little spread, making sure it doesn’t rise above the mould. Then seal the bunnies with liquid Deco Melts and leave to set in the fridge.
You can of course make Easter eggs for the bowl instead of bunnies. To do this, use the FunCakes Chocolate Mould Egg, for example.
Carefully remove the chocolates from the mould and place them in the Easter egg dish.
