Football cupcakes
A classic but perfect treat for any occasion! Celebrating your kids birthday or is it almost Father’s Day? Make these football cupcakes and decorate them with our football sprinkles.
What you need to make your football cupcakes:
Ingredients
- 500 g FunCakes Mix for Cupcakes
- 200 g FunCakes Mix for Buttercream
- FunCakes Food Colour Gel Bright Green
- FunCakes Sugar Decorations Football
- FunCakes Sprinkle Medley Football
- 500 g unsalted butter
- 200 ml water
- 5 eggs (approx. 250 g)

- Wilton Recipe Right® Muffin Baking Pan 12 cupcakes
- Wilton Decorating Tip #1M
Preheat the oven to 180°C (convection oven 160°C) and divide the baking cups among the muffin tray.
Prepare 500 g FunCakes Mix for Cupcakes as indicated on the package and divide the batter among the baking cups. Bake the cupcakes for about 20-22 minutes until lightly brown and let them cool on the countertop.
Prepare 200 g FunCakes Mix for Buttercream as indicated on the package and colour it green with the Food Colour Gel.
Prepare a decorating bag with decorating tip #1M and put the green buttercream in it.
Swirl beautiful tufts or rosettes on the cupcakes and decorate them with the FunCakes Sugar Decoration Football and the FunCakes Medley Football.
