

Mother's day Dutch egg cakes
Mother’s Day is on its way, and what’s more delicious than these Dutch egg cakes? Filled with Enchanted Cream® Strawberry, they’re the perfect sweet treat to surprise your mum with!
What you need to make your mother's day dutch egg cakes:
Ingredients
- 150 g FunCakes Mix for Sponge Cake Deluxe
- 150 g FunCakes Mix for Enchanted Cream® Strawberry
- 100 ml milk
- 115 ml water
- 3 eggs (approx. 150 g)
- Granulated sugar
- Fresh strawberries
Necessities

- FunCakes Parchment Paper Sheets
- Wilton Decorating Tip Open Star #1M
- Wilton Decorating Tip Round #1A
Preheat the oven to 180°C (convection oven 160°C) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
Prepare 150 g of FunCakes Mix for Sponge Cake Deluxe with 3 eggs and 15 ml of water as indicated on the packaging and put the batter into a decorating bag fitted with decorating tip #1A.
Pipe round swirls of approximately 8 to 10 cm onto the baking tray and sprinkle a little granulated sugar on top. Pipe 4 to 5 rounds at a time, as the batter will spread slightly. Bake for 10 to 14 until fully baked. Leave the egg cakes to cool on the parchment paper.
Prepare 150 g of FunCakes Mix for Enchanted Cream® Strawberry as indicated on the packaging and put it in a decorating bag fitted with decorating tip #1M.
Cut a small piece from one side of each cakes to create a flat edge so they can stand upright. Pipe the Enchanted Cream Strawberry onto the bottom of a cake and place a second one against it. Stand the cakes upright.
Top the cakes with sliced strawberries and dust with FunCakes Snow Sugar.
