Mother's Day Heart Waffles
Surprise your mom this Mother’s Day with these delicious heart-shaped waffles. Dipped in deco melts en decorated, they’ll make the perfect edible gift!
What you need to make your mother's day heart waffles:
Ingredients
- 500 g FunCakes Mix for Waffles
- FunCakes Deco Melts Raspberry Flavour
- FunCakes Mini Hearts Pink/White/Red
- FunCakes NonPareils Lots Of Love
- FunCakes 3D Sprinkle Medley Secret Valentine
- FunCakes Soft Pearls Mix Crazy in Love
- FunCakes Edible Wafer Flowers Daisy
- 1 egg (approx. 50 g)
- 175 ml water
- 150 g unsalted butter
Necessities
- FunCakes Bake Release Spray
- Bestron Heart Shaped Waffle Maker
- Popsicle Sticks
Prepare 500 g FunCakes Mix for Waffles as indicated on the package. Divide the dough into balls of approximately 60-70 grams. Preheat the waffle iron and spray the plates with baking spray. Place two dough balls on the iron at a time and bake for 3-4 minutes until fully baked. If needed, trim the edges of the heart with a sharp knife. Immediately after baking, insert a popsicle into the bottom of each heart.
Melt the FunCakes Deco Melts Raspberry Flavour in a bowl according to the instructions on the packaging.
Dip the waffles halfway into the Deco Melts and immediately decorate with sprinkles and edible flowers. Let the waffles set in the fridge for 10 minutes to give it a nice shine.
