Recipe of Drip cake with cake pops

1

Preheat the oven to 180°C (convection oven 160°C) and grease the baking pans with baking spray.

2

Prepare 400 g FunCakes Mix for Sponge Cake Deluxe as indicated on the package and divide the batter between the two greased baking pans. Bake the biscuits for about 30-35 minutes until done. After baking, let the cake cool down by using a cooling grid.

3

Prepare 250 g FunCakes Mix for Cupcakes as indicated on the package and place in a decorating bag. Heat the Bestron cake pop maker and spray lightly with FunCakes Bake Release Spray. Cut a tip from the decorating bag of batter and fill the cavities with batter. Bake the pops for about 3-5 minutes. Flip them over halfway through the baking time, if necessary. Let them cool on a plate lined with parchment paper.

4

Melt the lemon-flavoured and raspberry-flavoured Deco Melts as indicated on the packaging and add some white Deco Melts to lighten the colour. Dip the cake balls in the Deco Melts and let this set in the fridge. If necessary, dip them a second time in the melts.

5

When everything is dipped, put the leftover Deco Melts in a decorating bag and drizzle this over the cake pops. Immediately sprinkle some nonpareils on top.

6

Prepare 200 g FunCakes Mix for Enchanted Cream® as indicated on the package and flavour with the flavour paste. Divide the cream into 2 portions and colour them light yellow and light pink with the food colour gels. Put the yellow cream in a decorating bag with decorating tip #1M.

7

Using the cake leveler, cut the biscuits both 2x. Fill the layers alternately with pink cream and lemon curd. Spread pink cream all around the outside and leave to set in the fridge.

8

Heat the FunCakes Choco Drip according to the instructions on the package and make a nice drip along the cake. Swirl generous tufts on top of the cake with the yellow cream and sprinkle nonpareils on top. Finally, insert the cakepops into the top of the cake.
