Stick a colouring sheet into the slipcase and cut out the parts of the unicorn from the other colouring sheets. Lightly coat the back of the parts with crisco, otherwise they will stick to the Sugar Paste while cutting.
TIP! You make the unicorn 2 days earlier so it can dry properly.
Roll out the white Sugar Paste and place the unicorn on top. Cut out neatly with the cutting wheel. Work away any unevenness using the PME Modelling Tool Flower/Petal.
Now place this part on the colouring sheet in the insert sleeve. Go on and cut out the legs/hoofs and stick them on the unicorn. Make the mane from small rolls of pastel Sugar Paste and glue them to the head with a little bit of glue. Make an eye using black and white Sugar Paste and knead a small piece of black Sugar Paste smoothly with a big blob of Crisco. Make the eyelashes using the extruder and the disc with the smallest holes (if you don’t use crisco you won’t get the Sugar Paste out of the extruder!).
Make from the Glitter Powder Ginger Gold and Sugarflair Rejuvenator Spirit Alcohol paint and paint the hooves and the horn gold (let it air-dry for 2 days. Don’t cover it or it won’t dry)
Colour a piece of 100 g white sugar paste light orange with the Food Colour Gel. Make strings of the pastel roll Sugar Paste set and the orange Sugar Paste of equal thickness and form a rainbow out of this. Stick the strands together with a little bit of edible glue.
Knead some white Sugar Paste smoothly and roll it out to a thickness of 4 to 5 mm and put a sheet of cling film over it. Now cut out clouds of various sizes; the plastic will make them a little round. Wipe away any frayed edges with your finger. Set about 3 of them aside and let them dry completely until they are hard (do this 2 days in advance together with the unicorn, then they will be thoroughly dry).
Preheat the oven to 180°C (convection oven 160°C) and grease the baking pan with baking spray.
Prepare 150 g FunCakes Mix for Sponge Cake Deluxe as indicated on the package. Colour the batter pink with the colouring gel. Spoon the batter into the greased baking tin and bake the cake for about 30-35 minutes until done. After baking, let the cake cool down by using a cooling grid.
Prepare the 125 g FunCakes Mix Buttercream as indicated on the packaging. Flavour the buttercream with the FunCakes Flavour Paste Raspberry.
Cut the cake with the cake leveler twice and fill and spread the raspberry buttercream thinly all around. Leave to set in the fridge.
Knead the pink FunCakes Covering Paste smoothly and line the cake with it. Roll out the Sugar Paste to a thickness of 2 mm on a work surface dusted with Magic Roll Out Powder. Cut away the excess sugar paste with a sharp knife. Using some edible glue, carefully stick the rainbow against the front of the cake and finish further with clouds.
Stick a skewer into the cake and stick the unicorn against it with some buttercream. Finish decorating the cake with some clouds.
