- 500 g FunCakes Mix for Red velvet Cake
- 150 g FunCakes Melts White
- FunCakes Deco Melts Orange
- FunCakes Deco Melts Light Blue
- FunCakes Deco Melts Yellow
- FunCakes Deco Melts Pink
- FunCakes Deco Melts Purple
- FunCakes Deco Melts Green
- FunCakes Deco Melts Red
- 3 eggs (approx. 150 g)
- 100 g plantbased oil
- 200 ml water
Notwendigkeiten
- FunCakes Baking Cups White pk/48
- Wilton Recipe Right® Muffin Baking Pan 12 cupcakes
- Wilton Silicone Treat Mould Heart
- Dr.Oetker Pastry Brush with Wooden Handle 19,5x2,4 cm
Preheat the oven to 180°C (convection oven 160°C) and line a muffin tray with baking cups.
Prepare 500 g FunCakes Mix for Red Velvet Cake as indicated on the packaging. Divide the batter among the baking cups and bake the cupcakes for 19-23 minutes. Allow them to cool completely.
Melt the FunCakes Deco Melts in different colours as indicated on the packaging and use a brush to coat the mould. Let the first layer set in the fridge and repeat this process at least three times to create a sturdy shell.
Crumble 8-9 cupcakes and mix them with melted FunCakes Deco Melts White. Knead the mixture into a smooth dough.
Press the dough into the Deco Melts-coated mould, ensuring it doesn’t extend beyond the edges. Cover the top with a layer of melted Deco Melts and let it set in the fridge.
Carefully remove the hearts from the mould.
Melt some red FunCakes Deco Melts as indicated on the packaging. Add a drop of water to thicken the consistency, making it easier to write with. Pour the Deco Melts into a decorating bag and use them to write cheerful messages on the hearts.
