

Mix for Limoncello Cake
Imagine the warmth of the Tuscan sun on your face and the freshness of a limoncello cocktail. This fruity summer cake has it all. The FunCakes Mix for Limoncello Cake contains fruit pieces, crispy pearl sugar and a fresh lemon taste. And just like in summer, you only have to add butter and eggs after which you can sit back and relax while your lemon cake is baking. This cake mixture can also be used to make cupcakes!
Mix for Limoncello Cake
Sugar (50%), wheat flour, lemon juice (1%) (concentrate), apple (1%), raising agent: E450, E500, fructose syrup, natural flavouring (citrus), emulsifier: E472b (palm, rapeseed), E477 (palm), salt, glucose syrup (dried), milk powder (skimmed), rice flour, flavouring (contains alcohol), thickener: E415, E440.

Ingredients need to be at room temperature.

For this cake use 400 g mix, 4 eggs (200 g) and 175 g butter.
Preheat the oven to 170°C (convection oven 150°C).

Put the mix, eggs an butter in a bowl.

Put a (flat) beater on your mixer and mix at low speed for 4 minutes to a smooth batter.

Vet een 25 cm cakeblik in met FunCakes Bake Release Spray.

Grease a 25 cm cake pan with FunCakes Bake Release Spray.

Fill the baking pan with the batter.

Bake the cake in the oven for approx. 55 minutes.

Release the cake from the baking pan immediately after baking and let it cool down on a cake grid.
