Mini chicken and egg cupcakes
These cupcakes with eggs and chickens are perfect for with the coffee or brunch. After tasting these cupcakes, you want nothing more then keep eating.

- 125 g FunCakes Mix for Buttercream
- FunCakes Food Colour Gel Brown
- FunCakes Food Colour Gel Bright Green
- FunCakes Sugar Decorations Blossom Mix Pastel Set/32
- FunCakes Sugar Decorations White Blossom pk/64
- FunCakes Marzipan Decorations Chicken and Egg
- 400 g unsalted butter
- 125 ml water
- 5 eggs (approx. 250 g)

Preheat the oven to 180°C (convection oven 160°C) and spread the baking cups among the muffin pan.
Prepare 500 g FunCakes mix for Cupcakes as indicated on the package. Place the baking cups in the muffin pan. Fill a decorating bag with the cupcake batter, cut off a the tip and fill the cups with batter. Bake the cakes in 15 – 19 minutes in de middle of the preheated oven.
Prepare 125 g FunCakes Mix for Buttercream as indicated on the package. Colour a small portion of the buttercream green, and tint the rest brown using colour gels. Fill a decorating bag fitted with an adaptor and decorating tip #352 with the green buttercream. Fill another decorating bag with an adaptor and decorating tip #233 with the brown buttercream.
Using tip #233, pipe an adorable nest onto the cupcakes and place the little chicks and eggs inside. Use a small amount of buttercream to stick the flowers onto the cupcakes. Finally, use tip #352 to pipe small leaves to complete the design.
