
Bella Blue sea cookies

- 500 g FunCakes Mix for Cookies
- 250 g FunCakes Sugar Paste Bella Blue
- 250 g FunCakes Sugar Paste Bright White
- FunCakes Sugar Dots Pastel
- FunCakes Edible Glue
- Funcakes Food Pen Black
- 150 g unsalted butter
- 1 egg (approx. 50 g)
- Apricot jam

Prepare 500 g FunCakes Mix for Cookies as indicated on the package. Wrap the dough in cling film and let it rest in the fridge for 1 hour.
Preheat the oven to 180°C (convection 160°C) and line a baking tray the with parchment paper sheets.
Knead the dough briefly and roll it out on a work surface lightly dusted with flour until approx. 2-3 mm thick. Cut outdifferent sizes of circles using thePatisse Round Cutter Set and place them slightly apart on the baking tray. Bake the cookies for approx. 10 minutes until golden brown. Let them cool flat on the countertop.
Heat the apricot jam briefly in the microwave and strain it through a sieve to make a smooth apricot glaze. Use this to lightly brush the cookies.
Knead the FunCakes Sugar Paste Bella Blue and FunCakes Sugar Paste Bright White until smooth. Mix small pieces of white into the blue to create different shades of blue. Store the sugar paste in a sealed bag to prevent it from drying out.
Roll out the sugar paste to approx. 2 mm thick and cut out the same circles as for the cookies. Attach these circles to the cookies with a little apricot glaze.
Create various shapes such as fish, seahorses and octopuses with the Katy Sue Silicone Molds. Stick them onto the cookies with FunCakes Edible Glue. Use the FunCakes Sugar Dots Pastel as air bubbles around the fish and draw pupils on the figures with the FunCakes Food Pen Black.
