It’s official! FunCakes is celebrating its 15th birthday this September, and we’re going all out. Back in 2009, we started as a brand in its infancy, and now our 1,200 products can be found in over 2,500 stores across Europe—and soon even beyond. We’re almost all grown up, but we’ve definitely kept our playful spirit!
As we look back on 15 years of FunCakes, we think of our founder, all the colleagues who helped FunCakes grow, the hundreds of products we launched, and the many retailers who stocked our products. But most of all, we think of you, our loyal home bakers. It’s thanks to you that we’ve reached this milestone.
Too sweet? Oh well—it’s a celebration! PROUD.
To celebrate this milestone, we’ve created a special theme page on our website dedicated entirely to our anniversary. Our birthday range!
To celebrate our birthday, we’ve gatherd some of your favourite products and created a birthday range! You can create your own birthday creations with this range and… You can win a Kenwood mixer and FunCakes baking package. Birthday cake recipe!
It’s time for a big celebration! It’s time for FunCakes 15 year. For this party, we of course had to make a birthday cake. This cake decorated with flowers is a real showpiece. If we could describe a FunCakes birthday cake, this would be it!
- Prepare 400 g FunCakes Mix for Sponge Cake Deluxe as indicated on the package and divide between the two baking pans. Bake the cakes for about 30-35 minutes until done and immediately after baking, let the cake cool down by using a cooling grid.
- Prepare 3x 150 g FunCakes Mix for Enchanted Cream® as indicated on the package. Cut the cake with the cake leveler 2x and fill with jam of your choice and Enchanted Cream®. Coat the outside of the cake with a thin layer of Enchanted Cream®.
