Preheat the oven to 180°C (convection 160°C) and grease two baking pans with baking spray.
Prepare 1 kg FunCakes Mix for Cake Brownie as indicated on the package and divide the batter evenly between the baking pans. Bake the brownies for about 45-50 minutes and let them cool in the pans for one hour before transferring them to a cooling grid.
Prepare 300 g FunCakes Mix for Buttercream as indicated on the package and flavour it with FunCakes Cream Crunch Black Cookie Spread. Place the buttercream in a decorating bag fitted with decorating tip #1M.
Once the brownies have cooled, cut them horizontally in half using a cake leveller to create four even layers. Pipe small swirls of buttercream onto the first layer and place the next brownie layer on top. Repeat this for all layers, inserting a cut-to-size dowel in the centre of the cake for stability. To prevent the swirls from sinking, let the cake chill in the fridge for about 30 minutes between layers.
Once the cake is filled and ready, finish it off by piping small swirls of buttercream along the top edge. Separate a few Oreo cookies, remove the cream filling, crumble the cookies, and sprinkle the crumbs over the swirls. And there you have it – your Oreo Brownie Cake is ready to impress!
