Preheat the oven to 180°C (convection oven 160°C) and grease the baking pans with baking spray.
Prepare 400 g FunCakes Mix for Sponge Cake Deluxe as indicated on the package. Divide the batter between the two greased baking pans and bake for about 30-35 minutes. Turn the cakes onto a cooling rack and let them cool.
Prepare 400 g FunCakes Mix for Buttercream as indicated on the package. Flavour the buttercream with flavour paste.
Set out several small bowls and fill each with a generous tablespoon of buttercream. Colour the buttercream using FunCakes Food Colour Gels. Divide the remaining buttercream in half and colour one half purple and the other lime green.
Cut each sponge in half twice using a cake leveler and fill with a thin layer of purple and lime green buttercream. Place a cake board cut to size between the two cakes. Cover the entire outside of the cake with purple buttercream. Use a spatula to smooth it and a side scraper with a turntable to get a neat finish. Let the cake chill in the fridge for half an hour.
In the meantime, prepare as many decorating bags with adaptors and decorating tip #002 as you have colours. Fill the bags with the buttercream and decorate the cake with Halloween designs like spider webs, ghosts, stars, candy, etc.
Place the lime green buttercream in a decorating bag with tip #1M and make 8 beautiful swirls on top of the cake. Decorate half of the swirls with the stylish Halloween sprinkles and place a sugar ghost on the other half.
