Prepare 500 g FunCakes Mix for Donuts as indicated on the package. Roll out the dough, on a sheet dusted with FunCakes Magic Roll-out powder, to a thickness of about ½ cm and cut out 6 cm rounds. Then cut out a small round, of about 1 cm, from the larger round. This way you will get a donut shape. Place the donuts on sheet of parchment paper on a plate and cover with a clean tea towel. Let this rest for 25 minutes.
Meanwhile, heat the deep fryer to 180°C.
Deep-fry the doughnuts for about 90 seconds per side until lightly browned. Let them dry on kitchen paper.
Prepare 100 g FunCakes Swiss Merengue Buttercream as indicated on the package and place in a decorating bag with decorating tip #032.
Cut the donuts in half and pipe the Swiss Merengue Buttercream on the bottom.
Heat two tablespoons of FunCakes Dip ‘n Drip in the microwave for 10 seconds and colour this with a drop of pink and a drop of red earth dye gel. Put this in a decorating bag, cut off a small tip and line a few top edges of the donuts with this. Immediately sprinkle the dried flowers on top.
Put the dip ‘n drip back into a bowl and colour it a shade darker with the food colour gels. Decorate the donuts with this as described above. If necessary, colour it a third shade darker and decorate. Put the top edges back on the donuts.
