Ingrédients

  • 100 g FunCakes Mix for Bavarois Naturel
  • FunCakes Spread Crunchy Speculoos Cookies
  • 400 ml whipped cream
  • 100 ml water
  • 80 g melted unsalted butter
  • ¾ pack finely ground speculoos biscuits

Line the base of a springform tin with a sheet of baking paper and clamp the rim around it. Place a strip of FunCakes Acetate Foil along the inside edge of the springform tin.

Tip! This works best if you lightly wet the inside edge of the rim with water or baking spray, so the acetate foil sticks neatly in place.

Mix finely ground speculoos cookies with the melted butter and use this mixture to cover the base of the springform tin. Press it down firmly and leave it to set in the refrigerator for 15 minutes.

Whip 500 ml double cream until softly whipped. Mix 100 g FunCakes Mix for Bavarois Natural with 100 ml water and mix until smooth. Immediately add this mixture into the softly whipped cream and add the FunCakes Spread Crunchy Speculoos Cookies to taste. Pour the mixture onto the biscuit base, smooth the top and let it set for at least 4 hours

In this recipe you use less water to prepare the bavarois mix than stated on the packaging, because you are adding a spread

Remove the cake from the refrigerator, take off the springform rim and remove the acetate foil. Crumble some speculoos biscuits and sprinkle them over the top along the edge of the cake. Decorate with some whole biscuits.
