Mix for Sponge Cake Lactose Free - Low Sugar

With the low sugar FunCakes Mix for Sponge Cake you can easily make a light sponge cake. This mix is lactose free and contains 40% less sugar compared to the regular FunCakes Mix for Sponge Cake Deluxe. It is ideal for baking flat and tasty cakes with less sugar.

Mix for Sponge Cake Lactose Free – Low Sugar

Wheat flour, sugar, chicory fiber, starch (wheat, rice), raising agent: E500, E341, E450, E336, E575, emulsifier: E475, E471, salt, flavouring, thickener: E415.

For allergens, see ingredients in bold. May contain traces of: egg, soy, milk and lupin.

Store in a cool, dry place.

Preparation

Preheat the oven to 175°C (convection oven 160°C).

Put the mix, eggs and water in a bowl.

Mix at high speed for 7-8 minutes.

Then mix at low speed for another 2-3 minutes.

Pour the batter into a buttered baking pan (1/2 to 2/3 full).

Place the cake in the oven and don’t open the door during baking! The cake is ready when it feels springy to the touch.

Release the cake immediately after baking and let it cool down on a cooling grid.

The mix is easy to prepare, simply add eggs and water. You can give the cake an extra flavour dimension by adding a FunCakes flavour paste.
