Mix for Dark Choco Cake

With this baking mix you can easily bake a delicious choco cake! The cake has a beautiful dark brown colour and a rich chocolate taste. Delicious without fuss with your Sunday cup of coffee or with pieces of chocolate baked through and a chocolate glaze on top. Bake a regular loaf cake with this mix, chocolate cupcakes or use the mix as a base for your chocolate cake.

Mix for Dark Choco Cake

Sugar, wheat flour, cocoa powder (9%) (skimmed), modified starch, starch (potato, tapioca), raising agent: E450, E500, starch (rice), salt, emulsifier: E475 (palm, rapeseed), E471 (palm, rapeseed), flavouring.

Preparation of Mix for Dark Choco Cake

For this cake use 400 g mix, 4 eggs (200 g), 180 g butter and 25 ml water.

Ingredients need to be at room temperature.

Preheat the oven to 170°C (convection oven 150°C).

Put the mix, eggs, butter and water in a bowl.

Put a (flat) beater on your mixer.

Mix at low speed for 4 minutes to a smooth batter.

Grease a 25 cm cake pan with FunCakes Bake Release Spray.

Fill the baking pan with the batter.

Tip! Je kunt met deze mix ook chocoladecupcakes maken. Bak deze in circa 18-20 minuten gaar.

Bake the cake in the oven for approx. 60 minutes.

Release the cake from the baking pan immediately after baking and let it cool down on a cake grid.
