

Mix for Banoffee Cake
The FunCakes Mix for Banoffee Cake is based upon the traditional recipe from the British kitchen. A delicious cake with a banana and toffee flavor. Only add butter, eggs and a fresh banana to the mix to easily create your own Banoffee Cake. It tastes even better when you add a caramel topping on the cake.
Mix for Banoffee Cake
sugar, wheat flour, glucose syrup (dried), vegetable oil and fat (palm, shea), emulsifier: E471, E472b, E477, E322 (soy), raising agent: E450, E500, salt, natural flavouring, milk powder (skimmed), flavouring, milk (skimmed, condensed), thickener: E415, colour: E160b.

Preheat the oven to 160°C (convection oven 145°C).
Ingredients need to be at room temperature.
Mix with a flat/flex beater 400g of mix, 4 eggs (200 gram) and 200 gram soft butter for 3 minutes on medium high speed to a smooth batter.
Mash a banana and blend it into the batter.
Grease a baking pan of approx. 20 – 22 cm (10″) long.
Scoop the batter into the pan and bake the cake until golden in the centre of the oven for approx. 60-65 minutes. Release the cake immediately after baking and let it cool down on a cake grid.
